Wooster, 89th Regiment, New York Infantry, Suffolk, Va., to Dr. Marcus Stevens, Broome County, N.Y., mentions a recent snowstorm and the mud in camp. Letters, 1868 October 26 and 31, J.B. Davis, Stanardsville, Va., to John S. Henshaw, Goshen, Ky., gives news of family and friends, discusses farming, and comments on presidential election and the elevation of Negroes to office.
